What are Sateen Sheets?
Sateen (not Satin, which is synthetic) is a weaving technique and refers to a Cotton fabric woven on a jacquard loom.
Sateen Sheets have a lustrous silky look and feel (hand). Sateen Sheets offer a smooth soft silkiness that is unmatched in other weaves such as Percale (shown below), which as a flat, velvety feel.
